Bixby Academy: Homeschool Enrichment Program (“Bixby Academy,” “we,” or “us”) cares about your privacy and keeps the information we collect to a minimum. This page explains what we collect when you visit bxhomeschool.org or fill out our interest form, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version. We collect only what you give us through our interest form or by emailing us. We use it to follow up about Bixby Academy and for nothing else. We don’t sell or share your information with marketers. We don’t use cookies or analytics on this website. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@bxhomeschool.org.

What we collect

Information you give us through the interest form

When you fill out the “Indicate Your Interest” form on our homepage, we collect:

Parent or guardian name
Parent email address
Parent phone number (optional)
Child’s first name
Child’s age
Which program areas you’re interested in (Science, Creative & Visual Arts, Math, Literacy, Other)
Whether you’re interested in CO Homeschool Enrichment funding
Your homeschool declaration status
Anything else you choose to tell us in the optional message field

The form is provided by Google Forms. Submissions are sent securely over HTTPS to Google’s servers and stored in our Google account. Google may also collect technical information while you fill out the form (for example, your IP address) under its own privacy policy.

Information you give us by email

When you write to info@bxhomeschool.org (or any other address at our domain), we receive whatever you include in your message. Email sent to our domain is forwarded to our private inbox using Cloudflare’s Email Routing service, which handles the delivery in transit. Cloudflare does not retain forwarded message content; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Information collected automatically

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party trackers on this website. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for a short period for security and reliability purposes; we do not access these logs ourselves.

How we use what we collect

We use the information you provide to:

Reply to your inquiry and follow up about Bixby Academy programming, sessions, and enrollment when relevant.
Tailor our programming to the interests families express.
Plan capacity and outreach (in aggregate, e.g., “X families said they were interested in math”).

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making. We never sell your information.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers needed to operate our website and follow up with you:

Google (Google Forms / Google Workspace) — receives and stores your form submissions on our behalf.
Cloudflare — hosts our website and forwards email sent to our domain to our private inbox.

We do not share your information with marketers, advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. We will share information with law enforcement only when required by valid legal process.

How long we keep it

We keep interest-form submissions for as long as we’re actively planning the program (typically two years), or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner. Email correspondence is retained according to normal email-archiving practice; we delete or archive older messages periodically.

Children’s privacy

Although our interest form asks for a child’s first name and age, the form is intended to be completed by a parent or guardian on the child’s behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us directly, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what information we have about you
Correct anything that’s wrong
Delete your information from our records
Stop contacting you

Email info@bxhomeschool.org with your request. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe (usually within a few business days).

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the EU’s GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA. We respect those rights and will treat any such request the same way we treat the requests above.

Security

Our website is served over HTTPS with strong security headers, including HTTP Strict Transport Security and a Content Security Policy. Form submissions are transmitted securely to Google. Email is forwarded over encrypted connections where supported by both servers. While no system is perfectly secure, we follow sensible practices to keep your information protected.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we’ll do our best to let prospective families know directly.
